Chicago, Illinois (9-26-05) Venturini Motorsports announced today that they will use the ARCA RE/MAX Series season finale at Talladega to launch a Leukemia awareness campaign through their race program.
Venturini Motorsports has teamed up with The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society to help raise public awareness and raise contributions for this very worthy cause.
“Just last week we received news that Tony Venturini, Billy’s grandfather was diagnosed with Acute Myelogenous Leukemia. The news of his diagnoses has opened our eyes to this terrible disease. We pledge to do our part in raising the awareness level. The best thing we can do to honor those who have been stricken by this disease is to join the crusade against blood cancers,” says public relations director, Tom Venturini.
Venturini Motorsports will be soliciting donations for The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society in honor of Tony Venturini, in the RE/MAX Series garage area at Talladega Superspeedway from September 28 – October 1 week.
