I would have to say Kentucky is my favorite track of all time, but every week, you have to make the track that you are going to your favorite track.

Is there a big difference in the cars going from pavement to dirt?

um, I hope this answers your question, most teams use an old chassis, that they don't like at any track. I do not believe that there is a specific difference than most of the cars that are on the dirt are covered with rust......lol... um Hey its not a problem.. keep the questions coming............

Hey dan, what an awsome pit crew, my question is how do the tire changers get the jugs on and off so fast? How much do they practice? and are the tire changers good on your team?? thanks for answering all the questions your awsome

They use high speed impact guns..also the studs are short, and that makes the lug nuts come off faster...The changers are good... during the stops, we have our own race, to see what team gets done faster... the front guys..or the rear guys..lol

What are the differences from the jobs a front tire carrier would do compared to what the rear tire carrier does?

well, the front carrier would have to worry about the grill, for example removing tape, and cleaning it... while the rear carrier has to worry about all the adjustments in the rear windshield of the car...now some teams have the front carrier take right side tires back to the wall, also the front guys are already in their position at the beginning of the stop, while the rear carrier and changer have to chase the car into the box...so right off the bat the rear guys are a little behind...lol...

I guess I'll put my two cents in to put a question for dan...... what is the average time for a stop and what is the WORST thing that has happened on a pit stop?

Um, I would have to say our average stop is somewhere in the high 19, or low 20... we have had a few 19 flats.. and a few high 20's... now for the worst stop...um we had one time that all the lugs fell off the wheels.. what happened was that there was a type of chemical on the surface that would not let the glue stick to them... they didn't fall off till we put the tire on the hub, and the glue did not retain the lugs...
